Terms of Service

  1. Agreement

    Parties

    This agreement is between you ("User") and the individual developer operating wspacebot.com ("Developer", "@cl5rr"). The "Service" covers the WHITE SPACE Discord bot, the web dashboard, the White Space Guardian browser extension, the voice/video platform, the verification system, the BEATS API, the YtDown desktop application, the kit storefront and license verification system, and any related APIs or support channels.

    Acceptance

    By using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

    Modifications

    These Terms may be updated at any time. Material changes will be announced in the official support server. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

  2. Service Usage License

    Grant

    Subject to compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or community purposes. This does not grant ownership of any intellectual property.

    Restrictions

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
    • Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
    • Exploit the Service to harvest data or abuse rate limits.
    • Resell or sublicense access to any feature without written permission.
    • Interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of any part of the Service.

    Open Source Exception

    The White Space Guardian browser extension is released under an open-source license. Reverse engineering and source code restrictions do not apply to that component. Use of that code is governed by its included license.

    Availability

    The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice.

  3. User Responsibilities

    Account Security

    You are responsible for the security of your Discord account, WS Account, and any credentials associated with the Service. Do not share your password. The Developer is not liable for loss resulting from your failure to secure your account.

    Contributions

    If you submit code, definitions, patterns, or improvements to the Developer, you grant a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that contribution into the Service without restriction or compensation.

    Content Liability

    The Service acts as a passive conduit for content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you transmit through or store within the Service.

  4. WHITE SPACE Bot

    Voice and Video

    Real-time voice and video features use WebRTC technology. By using these features you acknowledge:

    • Direct connections may be established between participants. Your IP address may be visible to others in the session.
    • You may not broadcast content that is illegal, sexually explicit, threatening, or violates the rights of others.
    • You are responsible for obtaining consent before recording any session. The Service does not record streams.

    Anti-Nuke System

    The Anti-Nuke system requires pre-authorized tokens to execute administrative actions. Server administrators accept that this system may automatically take protective actions (role removal, quarantine) when destructive behavior is detected. The Developer is not liable for legitimate actions caught by automated detection within documented thresholds.

    Moderation actions performed through the Service on your instruction - bot commands (e.g. a ban command), the web dashboard, or custom flows you trigger - are attributed to you for Anti-Nuke purposes and count toward the same thresholds, budgets, and pre-authorization requirements as actions performed directly through Discord. Routing actions through the bot does not exempt them from abuse detection.

    Auto-Moderation and Image Filter

    Server administrators may enable auto-moderation features, including an Image Filter that matches posted images against block lists using perceptual hashing. Administrators accept that:

    • Enabled filters may automatically delete messages and apply the server's configured action (timeout, kick, or ban) to the sender. You choose these actions and set your own match sensitivity.
    • Perceptual matching is approximate; edge cases may produce false positives (an innocent image flagged) or false negatives (a prohibited image missed). The Developer is not liable for moderation decisions made by these automated features within a server.
    • WHITE SPACE maintains a global default list of known scam/prohibited image fingerprints that applies to servers with the Image Filter enabled. This list is provided as-is with no guarantee of completeness.
    • By adding an image to a block list, you represent that doing so does not violate the rights of others.

    Verification System

    The verification system calculates a Trust Score from publicly available signals (Discord account age, badges, Nitro status, authorized third-party connections, and mutual servers) combined with anti-abuse checks. Server administrators using it agree they are responsible for their own verification thresholds and that certain edge cases may produce false positives or negatives. The Developer is not liable for access decisions made by a server based on Trust Score data.

    When completing verification, you agree not to:

    • Connect through a VPN, proxy, or Tor to obscure your origin. Such connections are detected and verification through them is blocked.
    • Use alternate or multiple accounts to circumvent a server's verification or a prior failed/blocked result. Device fingerprinting and shared-IP analysis are used to detect this, and detected alt accounts are blocked.
    • Falsify or manipulate connected-account or device signals to inflate your Trust Score.

    Server administrators with the Manage Server permission may grant a temporary manual override that approves a user for a short window. Attempts to bypass verification through technical means may result in a global ban (see below). You may opt out of IP logging and device fingerprinting in your privacy settings; doing so disables the corresponding alt-detection check for your account.

    Prohibited Content

    The Service may not be used to facilitate, promote, or distribute:

    • Harassment, targeted abuse, or doxxing.
    • CSAM or any sexual content involving minors.
    • Terrorism, violent extremism, or credible threats of harm.
    • The sale of prohibited goods including drugs, weapons, or stolen data.

  5. WS Ban Network

    What a WS Ban is

    A WS Ban is a platform-level enforcement action, not a server ban. When a user is placed on the WS Ban list, they are preemptively blocked across every server that uses WHITE SPACE, regardless of which server the underlying conduct occurred in or was reported from. It is a property of the WHITE SPACE network as a whole, administered by WHITE SPACE staff, and it exists to protect all communities in the ecosystem from users who have demonstrated serious harmful behavior.

    Scope of Enforcement

    By using WHITE SPACE, server owners and members acknowledge and agree that:

    • Venue does not limit scope. Conduct does not have to occur inside a WHITE SPACE server to be actionable. Content or behavior directed at members of the WHITE SPACE ecosystem — including in direct messages, group chats, or any other venue — may be grounds for a WS Ban. The origin of the conduct does not determine the scope of enforcement.
    • A specific target is not required. Distributing prohibited content (for example, slurs or other hateful material) constitutes a violation whether or not it was aimed at a particular person. The absence of a named victim is not a mitigating factor.
    • Deletion does not cure a violation. Removing content after it has been sent does not undo the violation. Evidence preserved before deletion remains valid grounds for action, and no longer possessing the material does not affect whether the conduct occurred.
    • Repetition is aggravating. Sending prohibited content on more than one occasion weighs against, not for, any claim that an offense was not serious.
    • The reporter's conduct is irrelevant to the evidence. The character, behavior, or motives of the person who submitted a report have no bearing on whether the reported conduct occurred. Evidence is assessed on its own merits, independently of who submitted it.

    Grounds

    Conduct that may result in a WS Ban includes, without limitation: distribution of slurs or hateful content, raiding, malware or phishing distribution, verification circumvention, coordinated harassment, threats, sexual content involving minors, and other severe violations of these Terms.

    Duration

    WS Bans are permanent by default, pending a successful appeal. A ban remaining in force is not a defect; the absence of a stated expiry means it does not expire on its own.

    Evidence & Determination

    WS Bans are issued at the discretion of WHITE SPACE staff based on the evidence available at the time, which may include screenshots, message logs, or other records submitted through the WS Ban reporting process. WHITE SPACE staff are the sole arbiters of whether a WS Ban is warranted. Disagreement with the reasoning behind a ban does not itself invalidate the ban.

    Appeals

    A banned user may submit an appeal through the official channels. An appeal must provide substantive grounds to reverse the determination — for example, showing that the evidence was fabricated or misattributed, or that the identified conduct did not occur. Arguments that do not contest whether the conduct occurred (such as where it was sent, that it was later deleted, that no specific person was targeted, or objections to the reporter's character) do not constitute grounds for reversal. WHITE SPACE staff review appeals at their discretion and are not obligated to reverse a ban.

    Server-Owner Override

    A WS Ban applies to a given server only while WHITE SPACE is present in that server and its WS Ban protection is active. A server owner who wishes to admit a WS-banned user to their own server may remove WHITE SPACE from that server and then unban the user manually through Discord. This affects only that server; the user remains WS-banned everywhere else in the network. WHITE SPACE does not override a server owner's control of their own server, but likewise does not extend a single owner's decision to the rest of the ecosystem.

    No Entitlement to Access

    Access to servers protected by WHITE SPACE is a privilege, not a right. Nothing in these Terms entitles any user to participate in the WHITE SPACE ecosystem, and a WS Ban does not deprive a user of any right they are owed.

  6. YtDown

    What it is

    YtDown is a Windows desktop application that watches your clipboard for YouTube links and downloads them automatically in the background. It runs as a system tray process and requires no account or cloud connectivity to function.

    Your Responsibility

    You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to download any content you acquire using YtDown. You agree not to use YtDown to:

    • Download content in violation of the rights holder's copyright.
    • Circumvent YouTube's platform terms for commercial redistribution of downloaded media.
    • Distribute or resell downloaded content without appropriate licenses.

    No Liability for Downloaded Content

    The Developer is not responsible for the content of any files you download using YtDown, nor for any copyright or legal claims arising from your use of the application. YtDown is a tool; responsibility for how it is used rests entirely with you.

    Third-Party Dependencies

    YtDown bundles yt-dlp and ffmpeg as dependencies. Use of these tools is subject to their respective open-source licenses. The Developer does not control or maintain these upstream projects.

    Application Updates

    YtDown may check for updates. No personal data is transmitted during this check. You are responsible for keeping the application updated to ensure compatibility with platform changes.

  7. Kit License Verification

    What it covers

    The kit storefront at wspacebot.com/purchase allows purchasers of Roblox kit gamepasses (including EnDBSV3) to verify their license and access download materials. A valid license is defined as ownership of the corresponding Roblox gamepass by the authenticated Roblox account.

    Roblox OAuth

    Verification requires you to link your Roblox account via Roblox's official OAuth 2.0 system. By doing so, you grant the Service permission to read your Roblox user ID and username for the sole purpose of checking gamepass ownership. This session expires when you unlink your account or your session ends.

    License Terms

    Purchasing a kit gamepass grants you a personal, lifetime license to use that kit in any Roblox experiences you own. The license is tied to the purchasing Roblox account and is non-transferable. For experiences owned by a Roblox group, the license is only valid if the authenticated Roblox account is the owner of that group. Group members, managers, or co-developers do not inherit the license. You may not:

    • Redistribute, resell, or repackage the kit or any of its scripts in any form.
    • Share the kit files with any person who has not independently purchased the gamepass.
    • Remove, modify, or obscure the watermark or license verification scripts included in the kit.
    • Use the kit in experiences owned by another individual or a group you do not own.

    Access to Download Materials

    Upon successful license verification, you are granted access to a download link. This link is personal and non-transferable. Sharing the link with others is a violation of these Terms and the kit's license agreement.

    Revocation

    Access to kit materials may be revoked at the Developer's discretion in the event of license violations, chargebacks, or Roblox gamepass refunds.

  8. WS Accounts

    Registration

    Usernames must be 4 to 20 characters (lowercase letters, numbers, underscores). Your username becomes your permanent profile URL at wspacebot.com/me/<username> and cannot be changed after registration. Impersonation of any person, the Service, or staff is prohibited.

    Security

    You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and all activity under your account. Change your password immediately if you suspect a compromise.

    User Content

    Your public profile may contain a display name, bio, social links, project entries, and journal entries. You are solely responsible for that content. Do not post content that is defamatory, harassing, impersonating, sexually explicit, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.

    Account Deletion

    You may delete your account at any time via the settings panel. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. All associated data is permanently removed. Your username will not be made available for re-registration.

  9. BEATS

    Public Storage

    Beat maps saved to the BEATS API are publicly accessible to anyone via the REST API. Do not save content you do not wish to be public. By saving a beat map, you grant the Service a license to store and serve that data.

    Local Drafts

    Unsaved editor work is stored in your browser's localStorage and never transmitted. Clearing browser data permanently removes unsaved drafts.

  10. Tickets

    Purpose

    The ticket system is for reports of rule violations and appeals of serious punishments. Misuse may result in the ticket being closed without response.

    Accuracy

    You must provide honest and accurate information in all tickets. Fabricated evidence or false accusations are violations of these Terms.

    Message Storage

    All messages in ticket channels are stored persistently and accessible via the transcript viewer to the creator and server staff. Do not include sensitive personal information such as passwords or financial details in ticket messages.

    Staff Actions

    Server staff may close, lock, assign, or delete a ticket at their discretion. The Developer is not responsible for the conduct of server staff in managing tickets.

  11. Limitation of Liability

    Disclaimer

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. The Developer does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

    Limitation of Damages

    In no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

    Client Software

    The White Space Guardian extension and YtDown are provided "as is". The Developer is not responsible for damage resulting from versions downloaded from unofficial sources, modified versions, or failure to update to current releases.

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Developer's jurisdiction.
